How do you make a brand new restaurant successful quickly when it doesn’t benefit from a well-known chef, a busy location or a big advertising budget? You call in VINX – or at least, that’s what the owner decided to do. We took a two-pronged approach. First we built a compelling web site, then used carefully targeted social media to bring attention to it, attract early customers who lived and worked nearby and get those essential online reviews. Then we developed the profile of the hitherto-unknown chef as the best “home cooking style” Spanish chef in London and creator of the most authentic paellas. We doubled social media engagement month on month on month, within 6 months had achieved 4.9* ratings on TripAdvisor, Quandoo, Opentable and Google, and by early 2020 the restaurant was fully booked most nights of the week.
